This policy explains how we process your personal data when you use the LATENTIS BioGrow app, on Android, iOS or the web.

2. What data we process, why and on what legal basis
LATENTIS BioGrow app
- Account data: identification and contact details, such as your name, email or phone number, and your role in the app (farmer, advisor, applicator or cooperative).
- Farm data: plots, crops, field work, treatments, irrigation, fertilisation, inventory and the documents you record, such as photos of delivery notes.
- Voice input: what you dictate to the app, which we process to turn it into records.
- Location: precise or approximate, only if you grant permission on your device, for location-based features. You can revoke the permission in your device settings.
- Shared content: text or links you share with the app from other apps, which we only use to display or handle them within the app.
- Technical and usage data: device type, operating system, IP address and the features you use.
We use this data to:
- Provide the service (farm record book, recommendations, alerts and your relationship with your advisor, applicator or cooperative) and, when you ask, submit your records to the official systems. Legal basis: performance of the contract you accept when you sign up (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Use your location. Legal basis: your consent, given through the device permission (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- Keep the app secure, fix errors and improve it using technical and usage data. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Comply with our legal obligations. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
3. How long we keep your data
- App: while you have an account. When you delete it, we will erase your data, except what the law requires us to keep, which will remain blocked only for the legally required periods.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We only share it with:
- Service providers, such as hosting and infrastructure for the website and the app. They process data on our behalf under a contract that obliges them to protect it (Art. 28 GDPR).
- The people you link with in the app (advisor, applicator or cooperative), who will see the farm data they need for their work.
- Public authorities, when you ask us to submit your records to the official systems or when the law requires it.
If any provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, it will do so with the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
5. Your rights
You can access, rectify and erase your data, object to its processing, ask us to restrict it and request its portability. Where processing is based on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting processing carried out before.
To exercise these rights, email info@latentis.es stating which right you want to exercise and details that allow us to identify you. To delete your app account, follow the steps in delete my data. We will reply within one month at most.
If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
6. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.
7. Children
The website and the app are not intended for children under 14. If we learn that a child under 14 has given us personal data without the authorisation of their parents or guardians, we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, if the change is significant, notify you in the app.
